Staff Accountant

Description Our Marshall, Minnesota client is seeking an Accountant to join their team for a full-time position open due to retirement. An ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in financial and transactional accounting. Daily duties will consist of month/year end close, general ledger, journal entries, AP/AR, and more. Experience doing accounting for multiple entities as well as experience in real estate, property management or construction is a home run. This role offers medical, dental, 401k as well as negotiable PTO. Compensation for this position is $70,000-90,000 depending on candidate qualifications and experience. For prompt consideration, please apply with your most current resume. Requirements Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position. Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Demonstrated ability to perform Bank Reconciliations. Proficiency in managing and maintaining the General Ledger. Experience in creating and managing Journal Entries. Capability to effectively manage Month End Close procedures. Proficiency in using Sage Timberline accounting software. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis. Experience in Year-end Close accounting procedures.
