We are looking for an maintenance person or handyman to work at a 88 unit apartment building in Morris, MN. Hours will vary, depending on need on any after hours emergencies that arise. This position will be 20 to 40 hours a week, depending on candidate's availability and skill set. Must live within 15 minutes of Morris.
Partial List of Duties:
Snow shoveling
Lawn mowing
Lawn care
Landscaping, pulling weeds, outdoor maintenance
Painting
Electrical
Plumbing
General Repair/Carpentry/Handyman work and maintenance in occupied units and turnover work
Drywall repair
High attention to detail
Must be able to cost effectively analyze work needed and problem solve
Must have great customer service and people skills as a large portion of this job will involve tenant interaction.
Ideal candidate will:
be able to start ASAP
Must have a reliable vehicle (having a truck for use for picking up materials is a bonus).
Criminal background check will be done. Must have your own tools, we do provide larger equipment and some tools for you. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds. Must be available for being on call for after hours emergencies.
Salary: $16.00 to $19.00 /hour
