Carlson & Stewart Refrigeration, a Midwest leader in industrial and commercial refrigeration, is seeking permanent full-time Refrigeration Service Technician.
The Refrigeration Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. Successful candidates will be able to troubleshoot and diagnose system issues and perform necessary installations and repairs on equipment ranging from small self-contained refrigeration units to large multiplex rack systems. A high level of electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills is required.
Other job requirements are as follows:
Valid drivers license and a safe driving record
Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift objects up to fifty pounds
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, detail oriented and highly motivated
Must understand and adhere to all work safety policies and procedures
Develop and maintain excellent customer relations
Availability to be on call nights and / or weekends as required
Prior training and experience (a minimum of 2 years) with refrigeration or related systems is preferred. Normal working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
