Job Description
To supervise engineers providing day to day maintenance to residential group homes. Make day to day decisions regarding scheduling of work performed by engineers when necessary. Work with the State Maintenance Manager to assess and determine engineer caseloads. To be the Dungarvin representative when working with contractors, licensors, inspectors, and landlords with regards to our residential group homes and be responsible for preventative, corrective, and renovate maintenance for the properties under your caseload. Provides information on operating costs, as well as the annual budget for the properties. And will provide leadership in areas related to property and equipment management including acquisition, leases, general upkeep, improvement and cost effectiveness. Maintain the grounds, vehicles, and property including planning, implementation, quality assurance, and budget adherence and regulatory compliance. Travel is required for this position.
Qualifications
- At least three years’ experience in building maintenance including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repair and/or related construction trade education.
- Must possess ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
- This person must be able to multitask, have good decision-making and communication skills, in addition to knowledge and experience in property management and working with outside contractors assuring quality results and authorizing billing for those services.
- Previous supervisor experience preferred.
- Appropriate transportation is necessary as daily.
- This position must have at least a high school diploma.
