- The running and maintenance of industrial belt sanders, vertical and horizontal band saws.
- Operation of a plasma cutter and oxy acetenyl torch.
- Knowledge of best practices in Heliarc or TIG welding ferrous materials.
- Skill with general hand tools such as drills, grinders, cut off wheels and the like.
- Can operate a media blaster.
- Keeps up with general house cleaning associated with machine processes that create dust and metal chips.
- Able to use computer programs like Excel and use a digital camera.
- Overall organized, able to manage timelines and tasks at different locations and for different stakeholders.
