JardÃn Spanish Immersion Academy is hiring a bilingual Director! We are seeking committed leaders who are bilingual in Spanish and English, organized, provide strong customer service and direction, and have a passion for early childhood education.
Duties relate to ensuring smooth operation and management of the school, including the following:
Staff Supervision & Support: recruiting, interviewing & hiring, and daily supervision of staff, developing and maintaining a strong and trusting relationship with teachers
Curriculum Support: supporting teachers to provide creative, age-appropriate educational experiences to all children through our innovative curriculum
Customer Relations: daily support to enrolled families including in person and email communications, problem solving any issues and providing follow-up, maintaining excellent customer service
Marketing: giving tours & information to prospective families, posting ads as needed
Financial Systems: processing payroll for staff and tuition for families
Quality control and physical facility: maintaining a safe, secure, and clean space, ensuring compliance with Rule 3 requirements daily, ordering supplies and coordinating building service as needed
Other tasks as assigned - we're always busy doing what's best for kids!
Job Requirements:
Meets DHS Rule 3 qualifications for Lead Teacher and Director
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position and/or child care field
Fluent in both written and spoken Spanish and English
A positive attitude and desire to help both young children and teaching staff succeed is a MUST
