Role: Senior Director (Training & Development)

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Remote due to covid)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design the strategy, direct the implementation and evaluation of learning solutions that support the customer experience
  • Responsible for the development, long-term learning strategy and roadmap of training in a software setting
  • Provides expertise in development, adoption and evaluation of training programs
  • Drives adoption and retention strategies for customers by enhancing customer engagement
  • Oversees the success and utilization of training programs, making necessary improvements based on results
  • Owns the reporting and communication of training performance metrics to all relevant stakeholders
  • Design and develop internal onboarding programs to reduce the time to proficiency across Customer Operations
  • Create a culture within the training team that is focused on growth, development and excellence
  • Create a customer centric culture with internal and external audiences
  • Survey all new hire employees and report results and action plans for improvement on a quarterly basis
  • Design and deliver learning assessment/testing for all training modules so that course competency levels can be effectively measured
  • Reinforce learning as a component of organizational culture, employee engagement and workforce retention
  • Design and implement appropriate customer facing training and tools including webinars, onsite trainings, training guides and demos, etc.
  • This role will primarily focus on the implementation or the “how to” aspects of training, however, it will be critical to partner with sales and product on the “what” or the product level training to ensure we are successful at all levels
  • Partner with leadership to develop training priorities and support division specific training; integrate these plans into the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Develop technical training, product certification and other needed training for the Customer Operations teams
  • Act as primary point of contact for all acquisitions – go on-site to learn products and delegate initial and ongoing training to trainers
  • Translate our key business drivers into professional competencies for employees at all levels
  • Ensure all training and development programs and efforts are cohesive and include outcome metrics
  • Maintain compliance with client’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within client’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by client for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company; and
  • Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function.

Skills:
  • 15 years of experience, plus 6-8 years commensurate experience in training or human resources at the Director level preferably in a health care setting
  • 5 years’ experience leading/managing people preferably in a human resources, training or process improvement environment in a health care setting. He/she will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Client policies.
  • At least two-years’ experience working in a Health Care SaaS environment
  • Experience with enterprise Learning Management Systems and Instructional Design is a plus
  • Excellent PC computer skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer)
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to be collaborative, influential and manage people who are not direct reports
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail
  • Strong project management, planning and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple large-scale projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
