It all begins with you.The Enterprise Customer Excellence Group (ECEG) brings together customer-focused functions from across the enterprise to provide a holistic approach to critical points of interaction with Wells Fargo customers. The group, which includes the Enterprise Complaints Management Office, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence and Net Promoter System, is responsible for understanding the causes of issues that affect customers, and providing solutions that ensure customers' needs are understood and supported. The group is also accountable for ensuring regulators' expectations are met and that employees have the tools and training necessary for success.The newly created role of Customer Remediation Exploratory Analytics Leader is a critical role within Customer Remediation COE. This role is fundamental to driving customer remediation plans built on solid assumptions favoring our customers but rooted in a firm understanding of underlying data. To be successful in this role, the individual will possess a strong understanding of how data can be utilized to identify gaps in business strategies, and embrace challenge to untested data assumptions and limitations. This role will require the individual to work closely with stakeholders across the enterprise, in the Lines of Business, the CR COE functions including across CR Analytics and the Head of Customer Remediation Analytics to promote objective, high-quality data discovery activities.The key responsibilities of this role include:Enhance exploratory analytic activities within CR Analytics to ensure comprehensive assessment of all available data sources within the remediation planning phase promote high-quality analytics in the first pass

Conduct in-depth research within complex data environments to identify data integrity issues, and propose solutions to improve analysis accuracy

Develop objective analytics-driven measures of data integrity and reliability within customer remediation analytics to drive consistency and completeness of evaluating data assumptions

Partner with other CR Analytics teams to actively manage inventories of known data sources and data anomalies, and establish standardized methodologies when addressing across remediation efforts

Maintain close connections with CR Analytics LOB-aligned and functional teams, LOB analytics teams and Enterprise data management teams to continually improve data understanding

Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in analytics, modeling, or a combination of both

6+ years of management experience; or 6+ years of leadership experience in an advanced quantitative analytics function

Other Desired QualificationsDeep experience working with complex data in multiple data systems/fields and LOBs, responding to ad-hoc data requests from key external stakeholders, data science background, forensic analytics, and strong ability for to identify data root cause issues with the ability to create immediate solutions

Proven experience operating a high functioning shop (e.g. developing/overseeing sustainable practices and procedures, detailed and accurate documentation procedures and repeatability standards, enforcing accountability for high quality work among a large number of analysts)

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets

Knowledge and understanding of consumer lending data and analytics

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

10+ years of SQL or SAS experience

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important

Ability to work cohesively and collaborate with analytic functions throughout the organization

Expertise in data profiling and research

In-depth knowledge of business systems (Shaw, AFS, FDR, EIW, BMG, Brickyard, HELMS, HOGAN) and data structure

Experience in historical data analysis, customer remediation, or regulatory reporting

Job ExpectationsAbility to travel up to 25% of the time
