Description: What is the specific title of the position? Sr Engineer/Architect - Spark Work location ? Telecommute Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)? 9 -5 ET Please provide a summary of the project/initiative that this candidate will be working on? This is part of the client Rx Ab Initio Migration effort. The intent is to replace our current data pipeline framework with a modern, spark+databricks based environment Please describe the team the candidate will be working with - how many members? Team is 30 individuals, mostly based in india. A small portion of the team (3-5) will be based in the US We don't distinguish between roles within the team, everyone is expected to eb cross trained and able to work on the highest priority iteams. What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you're looking for. This needs to be a really high end spark (5+ years) engineer with solid databricks experience. Azure experience would be a significant plus as well. Healthcare experience is not a necessity. Of the required skills listed, which would you consider the top 3? Please list your expectations regarding years of experience for each requirement. Spark - 5+ years, preferably with Scala or Python Data Engineering background 7+ years Databricks 3+ years using Databricks as a compute platform Azure 3+ years hands on experience building and setting up azure infrastructure with ARM or Terraform What experience will set candidates apart from one another? Experience with Ab Initio would be a significant plus. Experience as a team lead or change agent What does the team structure look like how many members and what is the break-down of the team's skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? Team is 30 individuals, mostly based in india.
