Description: Job Position Title? Sr. Full Stack Engineer - II Where is the work to be performed? MN51-tech drive. The position can be remote as well. Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes what's being done? This project handles functionalities for a Digital eCommerce application. Main functionalities handled by this team include Product detail page and Product listing pages. Please describe the team the candidate will be working with how many members and what is the break-down of the team's skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? 1 PO, 1 SM, 1 Engineering manager, 4 developers, 2 QE What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? Expeirence with Adobe experience manager (AEM) as content management system (CMS). Experience with commercial software development and/or healthcare industry experience Strong experience in projects requiring application re-engineering, modernization Are you open to candidates that cannot convert to FTE without sponsorship? No What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) Provide tech leadership as a senior member of the software engineer team and as part of an Agile scrum team assigned to work on the project Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs Writes automated unit tests for developed code through front end automation tools like Karma/Jasmine Experience with Test driven development and actively using TDD for development. Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will enable team velocity Collaborate on the design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside the scrum team while also able to work independently. Estimate engineering work effort for engineering team and effectively identify and prioritize the high impact tasks Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security, and scalability and maintainability guidelines Drive a quality mindset within the team and evangelize use of TDD and automated unit tests. What skills/attributes are required (Please be detailed as to number of years of experience)? - BS Degree in Computer Science or related experience - 6 to 7 years of Front end/UI development experience using Node.JS, Express JS and Svelte kit or equivalent. - 6 to 7 years Experience developing / Consuming REST APIs - Experience writing unit tests for code through tools like Karma/Jasmine - Experience working with databases both RDBMS and NoSQL DB (Cassandra, MongoDB etc) - Experience in doing software development in an Agile environment. - Experience with build tools such as Jenkins What skills/attributes are preferred (will set a candidate apart)? Experience with Adobe experience manager (AEM) as content management system (CMS) or any other CMS system. Experience with Test driven development and actively using TDD for development.
