Collections AnalystGeneral InformationRef #:20220027067Travel Amount Required:NoneJob Type:Regular-Full TimeLocation:Eden Prairie - Minnesota - United States, Minneapolis - Minnesota - United StatesDescription & QualificationsDescriptionAs a Senior Collections Analyst you will be responsible for analyzing the Accounts Receivable aging, customer communications, timely resolution of discrepancies, and escalating as appropriate. A Senior Collections Analyst can manage between 500 and 700 accounts and will provide higher support to customers in alignment with the type of contract and services that they have been assigned.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborates with all stakeholders in the collections process to resolve open issues and optimize collection efforts Keeps management informed of serious collections problems and/or major problems in account status Meets weekly with AR Manager to provide updates on at risk accounts and collaborates on collection strategy Communicate with clients and internal parties regarding invoices, payments, and Service Agreement terms, providing exemplary customer service Manage and maintain assigned account information in both Salesforce and Sage Intacct systems Respond to automated month-end account statement and past due notice inquiries Analyze and reconcile posting errors on accounts and work with billing team to resolve invoicing issues Submit credit, refund, and bad debt write-off requests as needed Manage each customer account and address any initial customer concerns, prepare queries from the system of record, and provide supporting documentation to address disputes regarding contracts, billing, taxes, maintenance fees, and implementation Apply excellent customer service in a timely mannerQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong computer and organizational skills and attention to detail required Ability to manage priorities and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment Ability to research billing issues and communicate relevant conclusions, both verbally and in written format Proficient in ExcelNecessary Training: Sage Intacct Salesforce Reading and understanding contracts Relationships between parent and child accountsEducation, Work Experience: BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields (Preferred) 5+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable position Working knowledge of Sage Intacct (Preferred)Company OverviewHere at UKG, Our Purpose Is People.
