Our direct end client in looking for a DevOps architect for a 12+ month project. This position is 100% remote. In need of a DevOps Architect to help drive usage of Azure DevOps. Advise on best practices, pipelines, automation, CI/CD, etc. Migrated within the last year, but not leveraging all Azure has to offer. They are moving to Agile, moving to CI/CD, etc, but currently releasing on quarterly basis. They are looking for ways to utilize the tool itself in order to deploy differently and build differently.Job SummaryThe configuration management and release team plays an essential role in the successful delivery of software platforms that the company offers. Our vision is to become a hyper-performing team that propels the company's software delivery capability through DevOps leadership, self-service enablement, and engineering discipline.The Sr. DevOps engineer will be responsible for strategizing, designing, and implementing DevOps solutions in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.Identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions in all aspects of software delivery. A key part of the role is to partner with the entire delivery teams, understand their needs, and implement forward looking solutions that will meet those needs. This position requires a familiarity with agile methodologies, continuous integration, with a drive towards continuous improvement along with a demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple teams and projects.Responsibilities Be a key contributor to the DevOps journey, both as a strategist and a tactician. Challenge the status quo and contribute to CM improvement initiatives, including new technologies, process improvements, and collaborative partnerships with dev and IT teams. Build and improve automated solutions in different areas, such as server provisioning, build and release pipelines, and the integration of different 3rd party tools. Create build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps for BizTalk 2020 app delivery. Contribute to the implementation of the company's multi-cloud strategy. Represent the CM team in strategic IT initiatives.
