The Enterprise Architect is the responsible for developing and implementing the long term infrastructure and systems architecture plan. At the strategic level, the Enterprise Architect creates and preserves the conceptual integrity across all systems, defines and implements architectural goals such as reuse, adaptability, and through his/her understanding of the technical environment (possibilities as well as limits) defines and drives the technology direction and architectural approach. The Enterprise Architect is aligned to the business segments and is responsible for serving the needs of the business segment and at the same time ensuring that the business segment and the IT implementation teams are adapting to Enterprise standards, best practices and patterns. At the tactical level, the Enterprise Architect directs the project teams and implementations as a technical expert in enterprise wide architecture. These duties include the assisting in the design/architect for all major systems, the evaluation and recommendation of technical solutions, and lead in the development of strategies to migrate legacy applications.
The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for all aspects of technology including the high-level architectural designing, construction, reconstruction of applications and systems. This includes re-factoring, standardization, and modernization of technologies and reuse of techniques from one IT group to another. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for taking our company's business strategy and then defining an information technology systems architecture to support that strategy. This role, in collaboration with the other members of the Enterprise Architect Office, establishes the strategic technical direction for the enterprise and works within IT to develop and execute the plan to migrate from the current to the future vision. This role is the promoter of the architectural vision, strategy, and principles across all the business departments within the company, the IT groups, its IT partners and vendors.Under Chief Strategist direction, the Enterprise Architect performs work of up most difficulty in consulting and approving technical architecture, through the Architecture Review Board, and solutions in complex large scale technology planning, installation, and maintenance projects. This position is responsible for identifying solutions that leverage existing technology, including appropriate and supportable uses of technology, understanding and communicating cost benefit trade offs, and designing the architecture of systems that are extendable and interconnected.Vacancy expired!
