PLEASE APPLY!Description:1st shift: 6am - 6pm Monday - Friday 5X12's2nd shift: 6pm - 6am Monday - Friday 5X12'sDiscuss painting requirements with Lead to assure an awareness of job requirementsPerform training as well as preventative maintenance on Plural Component, Conventional, Airless, and Air Assist Airless spray equipmentPaint trailers, lay out stripes when required, insuring that paint application is consistent with company standardsObtain and mix paint ingredients, insuring that such is mixed in specific accordance with manufacturer’s specs and is the proper consistency and viscosityObtain parts or units to be painted using forklift, hand trucks, by driving units into the paint booth or sanding areasAssemble painting equipment and connect paint containers, insuring that pumps are properly cleaned and connectedMay spray units by hand to insure proper paint applicationContinuously inspect painted parts or units to insure proper coating application and make gun adjustments as requiredClean and repair spray guns and other related items. Replace parts and re-assemble spray guns as necessary. Change paint booth filters when necessary, and maintain paint booth cleanliness.May provide work direction to less experienced department employeesInspect hazardous waste containers for any signs of leakage at the start of each shift. Ensure hazardous waste containers are properly labeled with ‘Hazardous Waste”, description and accumulation start date.Accumulate waste daily in waste drum, notating fill date on drum and notify Lead when drum is fullSign manifest for shipments of waste and give manifest to Lead for appropriate actionsWring rags (used with thinners) out by hand and place in rag collection canOther duties as assignedSkills:Primer, Sand Blast, Industrial Paint, Paint PrepTop Skills Details:Primer, Sand Blast, Industrial Paint, Paint PrepAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must Haves: 3+ year Auto body, Large Truck/Heavy Equipment industrial painting - 2 + years liquid spray painting OR 3 + months Electro Static Painting -Ability to lift 50 l bs consistently, -solid work history, no gaps in history .Experience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
