About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant in Commercial Banking as part of the Commercial Banking Operations Support Services team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.In this role, you will:Lead Policy and Regulatory Change Management assessment for Wholesale Lending Operations, including applicability assessment, gap assessment, implementation. Closely collaborate with Control, Compliance, Commercial Banking Policy Office and other key stakeholders related to policy work

Liaise with Functional Operation teams and Commercial Banking Audit team to provide support for Horizontal audit requests impacting Operations.

Be responsible for audit preparation, facilitation, coordination, sample selection gathering, organizing audit walk through sessions and having oversight for the entire audit process, from beginning to end

Apply Operational Risk strategies within the team to drive and implement key risk focus areas.

Drive strategic efforts for getting to Effective in Risk Support focusing on policy management, Regulatory and Compliance management

Work with sense of urgency to drive risk focus areas and deliver on commitments to leadership.

Influence stakeholders outside of Commercial Banking Operations.

Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate

Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance

Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations

Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans

Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives

Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Required Qualifications:5+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:4+ years of risk management experience

Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions

Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Knowledge and understanding of risk and controls within a financial services environment

Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls

Project management and facilitation skills

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
