- Architecture and configure security detection capabilities in the AWS Cloud environment.
- Partner with developers and DevOps teams to evaluate code for vulnerabilities and coach on remediation and best practices.
- Introduce SAST and DAST tools.
- Champion a DevSecOps model to ensure consistent environments across applications.
- Provide subject matter expertise on selection of new tools and technologies.
- 7+ years' experience within Information Technology, with a focus on Security.
- Proven working background in deploying secure software to Cloud environments.
- Understanding of developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and their security.
- Experience with Cloud monitoring tools including GuardDuty, AWS Inspector, and AWS Security Hub and SIEM tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, DataDog, etc.
- Knowledge of Container Security and Kubernetes Security preferred.
- Industry certifications like AWS DevOps Engineering Professional, AWS Certified security Specialist, or similar are preferred.
