job summary:

Randstad is looking for an experienced Product Designer to support a product team, helping to shape the strategy & experience of our financial products. In addition to supporting your product, designers will also work to support & evolve the Ameriprise design system. When delivered, your work will range from sketches to prototypes to high-fidelity mockups-focusing not on prescribed steps but what is right for the project. Applicants can expect a highly collaborative environment, working alongside other product designers, design technologists & UX researchers.

responsibilities:

- 3+ years working in design, with an emphasis on digital

- Excellent understanding of design fundamentals (typography, color theory, layout, etc.)

- Proficient with Sketch

- Experience working in a product and/or Agile environments

- Experience building prototypes with tools such as InVision

- Experience working in the financial industry

- Responsibilities

- Actively collaborate & contribute to the larger product design team efforts

- Work with UX researchers to help deliver validated & tested work that enhances the Ameriprise client experience

- Aid design technologists & front-end developers to implement prototypes & completed designs into code (HTML, CSS & JavaScript)
