Project Manager, St. Paul, MN (Open to candidates throughout the US; just need to be able to work core business hours for CT.)

Kelly Services is seeking a Project Manager that has Scrum Master (CSM) background and can coach/mentor/teach the agile principles to others. Strong data background and experience with data migrations and transformation. Enterprise data platform creating net new tables for new data warehouse and integrating with several different project areas within the enterprise. This project creates tables and views inside a new DW platform for other projects to consume for one of our top clients in St. Paul, MN.

Length: 03/05/2021 - 12/31/2021 (Contract W2) Type: Contract W2-There is no "per diem" with this position. There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs. NO C2C, at this time we are not in the position to offer any type of sponsorships or VISA transfers for this position. Pay Rate: $60.00/hr. (W2) Schedule: Interview Process:

The individual holding this position is responsible for the success of new projects and working closely with the assigned program manager. The role will need areas of professional conduct, project management methodology, the use of project management tools, interpersonal skills and navigation of the project gateway process, project change request process and the rapid approval process.

Responsible for the success of new projects and programs through intentional leadership of assignments and mentoring of project managers in the areas of professional conduct, project management methodology, the use of project management tools, interpersonal skills and navigation of the project gateway process, project change request process and the rapid approval process. Participates in the coaching, mentoring, and training of others.

A Day in the Life:
  • Understand the strategy and future direction of the organization, as well as challenges and opportunities that are inherent to that strategy and direction.
  • Ensure that the objectives and priorities of the project or program are aligned with the company's strategic direction.
  • Directs the activities of individuals representing multiple business areas to achieve results in a matrix-ed organizational structure, managing across the organization to achieve project objectives.

Nice to Have:
  • Master's degree in business or related field.
  • Knowledge of team leadership and team member mentoring for success.
  • Experience in the Healthcare industry.

Required Skills and Experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree and a 7 years' experience leading large, complex initiatives with increasing responsibilities in project management or continuous improvement or 11 years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated track record of achievement with ability to identify and exceed customer expectations.
  • Excellent continuous quality improvement and/or project management skills.
  • Must have a high level of intellectual curiosity and openness to change.
  • Strong conflict resolution, facilitation, and negotiation skills, capable of adapting the approach as needed.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills, able to anticipate, identify and eliminate problems.
  • Proven ability to collect and analyze feedback and data and transform findings into project-level strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little to no direction and make decisions as needed.
