The Senior Director of Applications Development will be a crucial role for the company, and will collaborate with the executive team on the companys technical roadmap. This role will have the responsibility to create a strong relationship with the Business partners on the IT initiatives and strategies, and be able to collaborate/prioritize business needs. Will also be responsible for the executing and implementation of these initiatives, as well as pointing out risks and status reports on projects. Some roles/responsibilities would include: clear communication to the business and technology teams, understanding technology trends, encouraging innovative solutions, driving accountability, scope/timelines/schedules/budget responsibility, delivering/proposing an effective staffing strategy through various sources, and building high-performance teams.
Some other responsibilities would include, but not limited to:- Demonstrating experience implementing current technology trends and techniques, with strong emphasis on Digital services and Cloud technologies.- Interpreting internal/ external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve processes.- Being able to drive implementation and delivery of the technical roadmap utilizing best of technology and processes while ensuring the quality and production readiness. - Demonstrating strong rapport and Leadership among the business and technical teams, and being able to affectively communicate priorities/timelines/status reports to the executive team.Must have 8+ years progressive Leadership experience, along with proven experience of developing rapport with business teams, collaborating on a technical strategic roadmap, building high-performance technical teams and delivery.ABOUT YORK SOLUTIONS:Our mission at York Solutions is to positively impact the lives of everyone that crosses our path.With over 25 years of experience, we are a veteran-owned IT consulting firm that uses a non-transactional, value-based approach to provide clients with custom workforce solutions to achieve business, technology, and operational goals.
