Join Jack Link’s in a newly created role as our Senior Director of Marketing Operations! In this role, you will be responsible for the on-time and on budget execution and measurement of integrated and creative brand marketing initiatives across the Link Snacks portfolio of brands. This is a critical, high-visibility role tasked with leading direct, cross-functional and agency teams to deliver brand and company goals.

In this role, you will lead collaboration with the brand teams, internal and external partners in building the planning, budgeting, execution and measurement of integrated marketing communications plans and execution that efficiently and effectively achieve business objectives. You will leverage your strong, agile leadership skills, gained from leading larger teams charged with a mix of strategy and execution.

Reporting directly to the SVP, Marketing, you will be a critical member of the Marketing Leadership Team and will lead a marketing team comprised of retail activation, partnerships, experiential, event and creative services marketing professionals.

Key responsibilitiesinclude the following:

Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy & Planning: Partner with the brand team to deliver effective integrated marketing plans

  • Lead development of best-in-in class, actionable integrated marketing plans informed by consumer insights and backed by data.
  • Partnerwith brand to align marketing priorities to business goals and go-to-market strategy and supports the annual planning, creative and media planning process
  • Work with agencies, brand and customer teams to develop integrated marketing plans that enhance overall brand health and achieve business objectives
  • Understand and translate brand creative strategy and messaging to ensure programming aligns with brand direction
  • Contribute ideas and insights to elevate the Link Snacks’ brands

Marketing Project/Program Management: Owns the on-time and on-budget execution of marketing tactics and creative assets

  • Own overall marketing project schedules and execution from inception to completion, including resource planning & management, assembling and leading project teams, time & budget management, issues & risk management, monitoring progress, reporting & documentation, coordinating between brand, agencies, and internal partners across all marketing channels, media and customer communication channels in-store and out, packaging, partnerships and events
  • Utilizebest practices in project management, marketing team planning, reporting operations, budgets and contracts
  • Communicates clearly and often in a timely, organized and user-friendly manner providing task status, delivery schedules, open issues, risks and solution plans.
  • Supportcross functional team including ecommerce, social, and sales in the creation of channel & customer specific assets that leverages overall brand creative and aligns with brand strategy
  • Drivecontinuous improvement and seek ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently

Partnerships & Experiential: Oversees effective & efficient partnership (including licensing) portfolio and best-in-class experiences which build brand value through activation in and out of store.

  • Supportthe development of brands’ partnership, licensing & experiential strategy to drive impactful outcomes that deliver against business objectives
  • Oversee the flawless management and execution of brand partnerships, licensing, B2B and B2C experiential events as well as corporate events

Creative Services: Manage in-house creative production team to ensure on-time and on-brand delivery of relevant corporate and marketing assets

  • Managerelevant workflow and production needs utilizing in-house team and third party vendors
  • Workto create scalable processes that ensure best practices in areas such as project management, routing, file retention/maintenance, digital asset management, and creative production

Brand Compliance & Risk: Ensure all communications adhere to brand identity, marketing guidelines and trademark requirements

  • Facilitatethe review and approval of all marketing communications tactics, to ensure compliance with brand and marketing standards, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ownthe maintenance of the asset management ensuring compliance with creative usage rights, availability and accuracy of current campaign assets, and sales materials

Budget Management & Reporting: Accurately manages marketing budget, annual and monthly forecasting process

  • Coordinate the development of the annual marketing budget in partnership with team leads
  • Ownthe accurate monthly budget reconciliation and forecasting process for total marketing budget
  • Ensureon time processing and approval of invoices and payments
  • Leadmonthly A&P reporting process and reporting to senior leadership

Measurement & Analytics: Facilitates the regular and measurement of brand and marketing activities

  • Partnerwith cross-functional team to establish and continually evaluate reporting protocols, team communication and engagement routines and together with the consumer insights and analytics team, contributeto monthly and annual reporting and delivery cycles for the marketing department
  • Collaboratewith marketing team and agency partners to develop marketing annual learning plan to drive efficient and effective integrated marketing plans
  • Contributeto monthly brand performance reports

Agency Management: Manages a best-in-class portfolio of external agencies, suppliers and consultants to deliver exceptional and cost effective services and solutions.

  • Managecreation and execution of all contracts (statement of work, media commitments, etc.) with external partners and agencies
  • Leadannual agency review process including scorecard process

Team Management & Development: Leads and coaches team to deliver expected marketing strategies & goals

  • Createan inspiring team environment that fosters creativity, communication and collaboration
  • Lead and motivate team members through ongoing, regular feedback and stretch assignments

Qualifications

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications (or related field), MBA Preferred.

Required Experience

  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience managing/leading marketing/creative operations teams
  • Demonstrated project management skills to manage budget, and timelines as well as prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects to ensure delivery of top quality output within established timeframes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the execution of consumer focused integrated marketing campaigns including partnerships, experiential, media and creative; CPG experience preferred
  • Experience effectively managing a roster of agencies to deliver business objectives
  • Flexible, adapts to changes, effortlessly manages competing demands and changes approach or method to best fit situation, able to deal with frequent change or adjustments
  • Tenacious attention to detail, and ability to steward projects from inception to completion, plan strategically and execute flawlessly and nimbly
  • Ability to work autonomously and orchestrate across teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Must demonstrate effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and employee motivational skills
  • Proficient in Internet navigation, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Some travel required
