It all begins with you.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant in Marketing Utility as part of Consumer Data and Engagement Platforms (CDEP) within Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB). In this role you will provide coverage for Branch Banking, Chief Customer Office, CSBB Control, CSBB Diverse Customer Segments, CSBB Operations, CSBB Strategy & Transformation, Consumer Marketing, Deposit Products Group, and Small Business.The Senior Lead Analytics Consultant will support Marketing Utility scrum teams and work in Partnership with Product Owners to develop and deliver the Utility's functions to meet prioritized Enterprise objectives. The Senior Lead Analytics Consultants will be responsible for defining marketing rules, defining data requirements for integrations and downstream data feeds required to establish a customer's eligibility for a product, and conducting testing for those rules and integrations.The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and credibility with a proven ability to create a positive team dynamic in a matrixed organization, create engagement, and own results. Key areas of experience include financial services, product management, and product leadership.Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .The Senior Lead Analytics Consultant will work in a highly matrixed to provide support to the following representative tasks:Understanding the vision of the Customer Data Framework and drive Marketing Utility goals through participation in technical sessions to brainstorm how to bring that vision to life.
Leading technical & data design sessions, working with SME's to understand and capture net new functionality, marketing trait rules, as well as non-functional design requirements, and rules implementation and usage.
Identifying upstream and downstream data and integration needs, conducting detailed review of articles such as API code, data element mappings, etc. to confirm mutual understanding of both needs and potential deliverables.
Generating (writing) and 'story pointing' user stories to capture upstream and downstream data and integration needs, and working with the Product Owner to confirm that stories are assigned to sprints in accordance with delivery expectations
Conducting source to target mapping, conducting data lineage exercises in an environment with minimal metadata to identify root source of record and capture necessary transformation to the data from source of record to the point of presentation/consumption
Generating and configuring Marketing Trait Rules, and ensure rules are accessible in the marketing trait library
Engaging with Wells Fargo Technology on technical/support issues or questions
Engaging with peers to generate technical requirements (user stories) to support downstream Marketing audit, analytical and reporting needs.
Supporting research and root cause analysis for any identified quality and production issues
Supporting and actively participating in Agile routines.
Required qualifications:7+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Mobile or Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired qualifications:Strong SQL / HiveQL skills
Familiarity with Hadoop / HDFS / Hive
Familiarity with Python or a similar programming language for data analysis / data wrangling is a plus
Experience with DROOLS, rules development, and rules management
Prior experience working with Marketing Targeting and Customer Trait identification
Experience with Cloud-first data architecture,
Prior exposure to data governance documentation and standards
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with Banking, Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting data platforms and technologies, and experience addressing data related requirements of internal stakeholder
Experience with Marketing, marketing suppression and traits processes, credit data, and/or eligibility pre-qualification
Broad experience with Banking applications, products, technology architecture and systems integration experience in consumer and small business banking, consumer lending, and wealth and investment management
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to engage and influence senior technology and business executives
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Driven, confident, organized and an accomplished problem solver
