Location: Minneapolis, MN, Charlotte, NC, or Chandler, AZ Fortune-50 financial institution is seeking a Senior Workday Engineer as part of their Workday Adaptive product team. Role works a dedicated Agile team implementing Workday human capital management software across the organization. The Human Resources Information Technology (HRIT) team provides technology support for team member focused applications and processes, including payroll, benefits, learning and recruiting. Seeking Senior Software Engineers to support Workday Engineering functions for our Workday Adaptive product team. This team is a dedicated Agile team that supports configuration engineering for Workday Adaptive Planning and Development. What You'll Do:
- Support the planning and sizing of development items for sprint planning
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Develop, configure, and maintain integrations for assigned product(s) in Workday
- 3+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of HR systems experience (e.g. Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SAP)
- 2+ years of business systems analysis or design experience
- 2+ years of technology release or implementation experience
- 1+ years of Workday development experience
- Experience/Knowledge in Adaptive Workforce Planning, Modeling, Sheets, Reports and Dashboards
- 3+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting, and query tools
- Knowledge of Adaptive security, permission sets, user groups, access rules
- Experience in Integrations - EIB's, Core Connectors, Studio, Reporting - Report Writer, Advanced Reporting
- Experience in setting up integration between HCM and Adaptive, User sync and SSO
- Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile
- Knowledge and understanding of HR technology solutions, products and requirements
- Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
- Ability to shift priorities as work-flow/volume dictates
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
- A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
