They will be responsible for driving compliance management and operational health of our Core Engineering products and assets. In this role, the candidate will operate in an Agile work environment and leverage their prior hands-on experience with technology and compliance to support the enterprise in delivering strong asset management and the sustainment of risk controls throughout the end-to-end asset lifecycle.The candidate must exhibit the ability to communicate ideas to all levels of the organization and must be capable of mentoring and leading. The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker, passionate technologist and comfortable being at the forefront of a rapidly innovative software automation landscape. They will have the experience to operate successfully across the enterprise technology infrastructure with an understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.The CES Compliance Management Team has been established as a centralized governance team designed to develop, implement, and operate compliance activities in with the Enterprise Patching, Configuration Management, Vulnerability Management, and IT Asset Management programs which are core to the team’s scope. Assets under governance are Core Engineering Database and Compute products (Mainframe/Midrange/Storage/Compute).As the Configuration Management Team Lead, you will be responsible to lead Compliance Management Scrum team, ensuring cross team coordination and collaboration, adherence to configuration management standards, along with supporting any new policy and program deliverables as rolled out. You will be responsible to perform data analysis to determine any enhancements and/or gaps in execution and develop methods to deploy into the environment. You will act as a focal point to support escalated requests, will maintain and execute against roadmap and partner with Compliance Management Lead peers.You will partner with senior level technical engineers during research and design sessions as new compliance requirements are defined and rollout plans are determined. You will also be involved in establishing appropriate mitigation strategies and controls to ensure the teams adhere and remain compliant with policy.Key Responsibilities:Ensure adherence to Configuration Management compliance

Develop and maintain comprehensive playbook of compliance requirements for the portfolio

Lead or mentor team

Solves complex business & strategic problems using advanced analytical and statistical techniques.

Compiles reports, charts, and tables based on established statistical methods. Ensures that the use of business intelligence / big data / data science applications enhances business decision making capabilities by identifying trends and root cause

Develops and presents clear, concise recommendations outlining alternatives and key decision criteria.

Identifies and recommends new data sources and process improvements that will maximize analytic output and create customized reports.

Collaborates across the organization to develop solutions that drive business outcomes and track through completion.

Adding business intelligence reporting capability to create actionable reports and notification tools that can be leveraged by various infrastructure teams to manage the compliance of the enterprise and accurately monitor and reflect compliance / non-compliance status at the asset level

Develops and implements data attribute quality controls

Assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met

Execute in an Agile work environment

Prior role involving Risk, Audit or Compliance or Data Governance

Experience with Cobit, ITIL or Six Sigma

Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

Knowledge and understanding of Product / Asset lifecycle management and governance

Experience with ServiceNow

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

7+ years of information technology experience

2+ years of leadership or management experience

1+ year of UI (User Interface) experience

3+ years of experience tracking data, compiling/mining data from multiple cross business sources, or a combination of both

2+ years of Microsoft office suite experience such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word

Desired QualificationsExperience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business

Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management

A BS/BA degree or higher

Compliance and regulatory systems experience

Ability to identify root-cause issues/improvement opportunities, and design approaches/programs/products to improve overall quality assurance

Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels

Ability to manage medium to large sized projects

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Knowledge and understanding of Agile

Knowledge and understanding of operational risk management or compliance methods

Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)

Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation

Knowledge and understanding of technical infrastructure environment

Knowledge and understanding of technology testing: user acceptance testing including: planning, strategy, script creation, and execution

Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
