Job ID: 21-06381Job Title: User Expereince Specialist- Executive Location: Minneapolis, MN- Fully remoteType: 6 Month Contract One of our enterprise financial services clients is seeking a User Experience Specialist to join them in a fully remote position! Day to Day Responsibilities
- 10% - Participate in the strategy and definition phase of projects, providing input for concepts, research plans, and approach for the user experience.
- 60% - Manage the design of user interfaces during the implementation phase of the project, including the iterative development of wireframes, mock-ups and other project artifacts to illustrate the intended user experience. Define and translate business and user requirements into defined UX/UI documentation and specifications, including stories and acceptance criteria for Agile projects. Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure build matches intended designs.
- 10% - Present design ideas, including rationale based on customer research and best practices, and facilitate mapping and other exercises with the product development team and other key stakeholders.
- 10% - Participate in peer design reviews/critique, giving and receiving constructive feedback. Ensure knowledge sharing and cross-pollination of team members to effectively support the business and execute on team/function deliverables.
- 10% - Plan and participate in UX research, including competitive research reviews, secondary research reviews, heuristic reviews, interviews, surveys, first click studies, card sorts and usability testing. Author and present resulting findings and recommendation reports. "
- Demonstrated experience with design thinking and human-centered design Fluency in Sketch, familiar with Sketch libraries Familiarity with InVision
- Must have work samples with submission
- Experience designing highly functional and transactional authenticated experiences
- Experience designing web apps for B2B and employee audiences
- Experience planning and facilitating design workshops and mapping exercises
- Experience planning and conducting UX research
- Strong data visualization skills
- Experience designing for with Power BI and/or Salesforce
- Experience with a component-based design system
- In-house experience collaborating with business and engineering partners from concept to completion
- Resourceful and iterative use of design methods
- Approachable, collaborative, curious, proactive, humble
- Experience with agile and waterfall application development methodology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, collaboration, with the ability to work independently and proactively flag issues and concerns
- Time management and organization, ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables at once and adapt to evolving priorities, as needed Utilizing a design system and pattern documentation"
- Prioritizing candidates with experience designing highly functional data-heavy enterprise software products.
