• Serve as liaison for product teams and represent the needs of their intended audiences to help guide teams to balance business strategies with user-centric, research-based insights.
• Lead the development of strategic product recommendations and enhancements based on user-centric intelligence in concert business goals and objectives ahead of sprint planning.
• Formulate strategic roadmap and overall approach to uncover audience needs. This includes the creation and facilitation of user personas, user journeys, qualitative and quantitative research recommendations and workshops in order to guide product vision.
• Synthesize discovery research into a strategic approach and create deliverables such as strategy briefs and presentation decks.
• Effectively prioritize projects, manage strategic tasks and deliverables and communicate with product teams on timelines, budgets and the delivery of recommendations/outcomes.
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in partnership with Product Owners and Analytics team to measure the effectiveness of strategic decisions.
• Report on KPI outcomes and identify potential future opportunities through recommended revisions or additional research recommendations.
• Facilitate and maintain Product Teams Discovery workspaces to ensure that all intelligence gathered is easy to locate and onboard new team members to the product teams."
• This contractor will be expected on site M-Th; WFH on F. 3+ years working in UX teams. This is not a UX Design role, but rather a strategy role that focusing on taking a variety of client/business/tech inputs and formulating UX Strategies.
• Meet with product teams, business stakeholders and subject matter experts to document and understand their goals, objectives and timelines.
• Work in tandem with UX research and Strategic Insights leads to plan and facilitate recommended qualitative and quantitative research studies and outcomes.
• Create and present strategic recommendations based on the research outcomes.
• Partner with Web Analytics team to develop Adobe workspace dashboards.
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations for product improvements and/or additional research based on website traffic behaviors and website usage.
• Tactical deliverables include assessing current state (digital analytics analysis), competitive analysis, audience definitions, user journeys, user flows and prioritization of tasks, and in some cases, information architecture and low fidelity wireframes.
• Collaborate with UX Designers, UX Researchers, UX Content Managers, Product Owners and Developers to ensure the design and implementation of the product meets the vision of the strategic recommendations and business goals. Plan and facilitate strategic workshop sessions with Discovery teams to identify discovery gaps, determine if additional research is needed and/or come to an agreement that the agreed upon recommendations are ready for the the Product Delivery teams.
• This candidate will be working closely with the product teams for the Columbia/ThreadNeedle and Riversource websites.
• Ideal candidate has a deep grasp of user journeys, user personas, usability best practices and UX research planning.
