Harmony Homes has a amazing opportunity for someone to act as a PAID "Big Brother" with a developmentally disabled gentleman. You will work with him 8am - 2pm each day. He has a set schedule of activities each day. Mondays, he swims at the Courage Center, Tuesdays he goes to a movie. Wednesdays he volunteers etc. You will help him bathe/groom, take his medications, prepare lunch and listen to him. He is in need of someone who will be a friend. It is very important that wee find someone who plans to stay log term. Preferably, you would live close to Little Canada where he lives. (Snow cant prohibit your visits.)
You must have experience being a caregiver for someone who is developmentally disabled, elderly, a child or someone physically disabled. You must have STABLE employment history or at least one year at teh same place recently.
You must have a driver's license, insurance and reliable vehicle. Preferably, you will have a smart phone for clocking in and out and entering mileage on our payroll system and a computer to take some online training.
Preferably, you will have CPR/First Aid and Med Passing Certifications.
We are looking to hire someone ASAP.
