Role: Technical Product Owner with HealthCare,Location: Minneapolis MN.Duration: Contract
Job Description: As a Technical Product Owner at UST Global, this is your opportunity to:- Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value
- Approve final scope, accept final delivery, and shepherd it through the rest of the organization
- Perform delivery planning for assigned projects
- Clarify the needs of the product and the priority of that work to engineering
- Represent the customer/other product owners in sprints to the delivery teams and provide sprint prioritization to ensure technology alignment with business priorities & strategies
- Validate clients’ requirements, detailed functional specification and design documents and ensure both are clear to your clients and development team.
- Drive quarterly sprint planning, manage the product backlog, prioritize the features set to meet the needs of the customer and collaborate from end to end with design and engineering team members
- Support the foundation framework and front-end delivery mechanisms as needed
- Maintain monthly updates, work plans and provide monthly roll-up, Manage and update score cards
- Be able to discuss and present product requirements, status, dependencies, etc. with executives and customers
- Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process of system
- Organize and lead project status and working meetings
- Provide updates, status, and completion information to managers and/or users
- Understanding of business functional areas and Quality processes
- Knowledge and experience using reporting software tools
- Excellent in story writing and well versed with agile tools like JIRA, KANBAN board, TFS• Strong technology understanding, with knowledge of mobile and web platform design conventions and technology limitations and opportunities• Self-starter who can cross boundaries and wear different hats to move product forward in an enterprise and geographically dispersed environment• Act as liaison with related product development projects to ensure the coordinated communications and development of the inter-related and inter-dependent products• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with various levels of individuals from executive management to developers in a challenging, complex and fast pace environment• Good technical understanding of database concepts• Have at least intermediate skill level of writing SQL queries and querying databases
