Area Property Managers or Apartment Managers

Twin-Cities multi-family Property Management Company seeks an experienced Full-time Apartment Property Manager or Area Manager (APM) for scattered sites in the west metro and Carver and McLeod Counties (Waconia, Glencoe and Hutchinson) - must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation. Office in Glencoe. The APM is totally accountable for all community operations. APM is to effectively manage and coordinate persons, activities, and available resources in order to accomplish objectives set by the Regional Property Manager and the Management Company. Be your own boss, while following policy and procedure. Responsible for the financial success of the community through budget control; collecting, recording and depositing rent, fees, deposits when due; performs evictions when necessary; constant vendor/contractor communications, light maintenance and cleaning. Human Resources: Hires, trains, motivates and supervises all on-site staff and vendors. Leasing/Marketing, showing and closing on prospects. Lease files and leases are properly executed. Office hours are typically 8:30 to 5:00 - some nights and week ends required. Required to work on the 1st and 2nd day of every month; regardless of holiday or week end. Must have a valid drivers license and dependable transportation. Experience preferred, will consider applicants with two or more years of management experience.
