Martin Construction & Contracting has 20 years experience behind them and has an exceptional reputation in providing the highest quality and best service to it's customers. In it's growth MCC is looking for a highly motivated person. Being well-rounded and be able to handle all aspects of construction, and work at a fast pace while producing high quality work. The individual will directly interact with the Owner, Main Office Personnel, Subcontractors, Vendors and Suppliers on and off the project site at times. Individual will spend majority of the time building and overseeing projects in the field.
Experience in the following areas is helpful:
Demolition, framing, roofing, siding, trim work, tile installation, window installation, decks, cabinet and counter installation, insulation
Scheduling and working with subcontractors
Managing work site to MCC standards, following all policies and procedures
Reporting to Construction Manager regarding project status
Interacting with clients in a professional manner
Ensure site safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded
Oversee project schedules to ensure they align with budgets and completion dates
Demonstrate the capability to read, understand and apply standards to Surveys, Plans/Blueprints and Specifications
Ability to effectively problem solve, be organized and punctual
All selected candidates must successfully pass background. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required. High school diploma or equivalent required.
Phone and understanding basic technology a must
Starting wage very competitive and dependent on experience, duties, and responsibilities. Pay range is dependent on skill level, estimating, and leadership experience
