Summary of Expectations: Follows established inventory control processes for the accurate counting and reconciliation of the company's products and supplies which is critical for the attainment of business goals.

Responsible for quality control of inventory counting process

Inspecting the counts and levels of product, supplies and raw material to identify shortages

Ensuring product stock is accurate for all distribution channels

Competent to monitor and report on the company's inventory levels, accuracy, and issues.

A reliable, dependable professional with excellent record-keeping abilities.

Possess great attention to detail and a business mindset.

The goal is to ensure that all inventory counts are accurate and adequate to maintain inventory integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities

Promotes a safe, clean, and respectful work environment, leading by example

Follows processes to optimize inventory control procedures

Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw material as directed

Ensure product stock counts are accurate

Record daily counts and adjustments to reconcile inventory as directed

Use software to monitor inventory discrepancies

Coordinate with operations to identify issues compromising inventory integrity

Analyze data to anticipate process improvement future needs

Evaluate processes to achieve and maintain inventory integrity

Collaborate with Inventory Coordinator and other operations leaders to ensure business goals are met

Report to operations management on stock levels, issues, metrics, etc. as directed

Other duties as assigned by Inventory Coordinator or operations manager

Secondary Duties

May support other departments as directed due to seasonality of business demands

Requirements

Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse position

Interest in or knowledge of data analysis methods

Working knowledge Warehouse Management System or Handheld

Ability to accurately count inventory and update reports

An analytical mind with good math skills

Strong organizational and process skills

Good communication abilities

Reliable and trustworthy

Focus on developing a clean safe work environment
