Job Description - Systems Solution Architect - VMware, Hypervisor, Cloud
Systems Solution Architect - VMWare, Cloud, Hypervisor Minneapolis - St Paul, MN Full time / Permanent hire ( $120,000 - $140,000 base range DOQ ) Our mid-size, well-known, highly reputable tech client is looking for a Systems Architect to join a small consultative Architecture team. This team will customer-face externally and architect, create, build out systems / infrastructure solutions. Ideally, the team would love more expertise within public cloud ( AWS, Azure, etc. ) as well as VMware, Hypervisor, Hyper-V, vSphere, vCenter, etc. This is a tech solutions organization, so we are looking for a FTE who is passionate about a consultative role. Able to roll up sleeves at times, no corporate silos, collaborate with engineering, systems, HW/SW, devOps, dev teams internally and join sales on client calls to provide architecture and game plan expertise. This organization will provide continuous education and best in breed tools, technology, practices! Looking for:- Proven Solutions Architecture with Infrastructure space
- Ideally, expertise in:
- VMWare
- Hypervisor
- Virtual Machine Monitor - VMM
- vSphere, vCenter,
- Hypervisor
- Hyper-V
- Microsoft Hyper-V, codenamed Viridian
- Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, etc.
- Best practices, security protocols, architecture, services, integration, etc.
- Microsoft: Windows, servers, etc.
- VMWare
- Exposure / experience on the hardware, networking, Data center side is nice, but the team already has expertise here.
- Consultative passion and mindset
- Loves to solve problems, ask questions, build solutions / blueprints / architecture diagrams, troubleshoot, roll-up sleeves, etc.
- This is a mid-size consulting and service organization - we are looking for someone who wants to customer face, get their hands dirty at times, solve problems and collaborate internally with other engineering teams to build it out!
