- Partner with the eCommerce business units to identify solutions for their business functions. Focus will be on understanding gathering UI needs of consumers from the business.
- Work with business partners and IT Management to identify business unit's high-level prioritization of future needs.
- Perform analysis on process flows and will help identify opportunities to implement or enable technology to streamline operations.
- Assist IT Management in developing project plans and leading projects through the Development Lifecycle. Some of the activities include managing tasks, communicating schedules and milestones, and documenting issues.
- Establish data requirements and selection rules for interfaces and conversions.
- Lead testing efforts which may include formulating test strategies, creating test scripts, and executing various testing scenarios.
- Assist with development and delivery of end user training.
- Gather and analyze data to discover problems and propose corrective action.
- Provide end user production support.
- Evaluate vendor software patches and assess impacts and benefits.
- Support data transmission and communication requirements to internal and external vendors.
- Performs all functions in accordance with IT and company business practices and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Computer Information Systems or related field.
- Five years or more of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in retail with an understanding of Business to Consumer
- Experience working with home grown custom applications and/or systems
- Strong experience developing and working with Waterfall and Agile project plans
- Strong experience with gathering requirements and developing business requirements documents.
- Strong analytical, integrative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work managing multiple project priorities.
- Solid interpersonal skills and client service orientation.
- Functional or industry knowledge/experience in supporting (preference given to experience) in Warehouse Management, Production Planning, and Logistics Applications.
- Preferred skills in MS Project, Excel, Power BI, MS-SSRS, and SQL query development.
- Experience with test plan creation, testing procedures, and test plan execution preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with ERP systems is nice to have
