Senior Software Developer The energetic senior developer hired for this position will contribute to the ongoing enhancement and evolution of our widely-used data integration frameworks. The team confronts a wide range of customer environments to acquire and organize data for consumption by our analytics products. Technologies include a wide range of call recorders and database systems; requiring our team of engineers to design for reuse while staying flexible for the "just one thing" that's unique about each environment. While most of the time will be spent in Java code, some C# will be used. Required skills: • 5-7 years professional software development with emphasis on back-end components.• At least 2 years of professional Java development experience• At least 2 years of professional SQL development experience• Ability to apply sound engineering best practices in a dynamic environment.• Expert in automated test techniques at unit and integration levels.• Expert in configuration management and source control methodologies. Responsibilities• Create and enhance integration components in a data acquisition "toolkit".• Assist technical support personnel in diagnosing problems in the field.• Independently meet with customer engineers to create integration designs.• Inform Solution Architects how to use new and enhanced components in customer systems.• Take goals and desires for new or modified functions and determine technical requirements Desired skills: • Experience in call center market• Professional C# development experience
