Deck builder apprentice

Job Overview:

I’m a small growing deck company with lots of work in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.

I am currently looking for a motivated, hardworking carpenter/deck builder that will be able to preform various construction task and ensure high – quality workmanship.

Skills/Qualifications:

Available to work between 7am – 4pm Monday through Friday

Safety – oriented

Excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail & problem solving

Knowledgeable with reading a tape measure

Able to use power tools such as drills, nail guns, planers, miter saw, table saw, circular saw, and reciprocating saws

Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb up and down ladders, and lift heavy lumber

Requirements:

Steel toe boots

Driver’s License & vehicle

Tool belts

Safety glasses

Experience:

1 year in building industry

Salary:

$20-$25 per hour to start depending on experience/skills - This is a 1099 position
