SCOPE:
Job Responsibilities of the Maintenance Tech – Resident Services is to perform maintenance service requests; in resident and inventory home/Apartments; assist in the preparation of market ready units, from trash to make-ready; troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, glazier, electrical problems including appliance repair and assist with upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be responsible for common area and apartment repairs in the scope of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Assist with all aspects of the property's maintenance, interior and exterior building inspections, and preventive maintenance.
Customer service is a priority, and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of our tenants.
Efficiently completes all daily work orders.
Communicates any delays in completing a work order with the supervisor in management office.
Troubleshoot repair and maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, appliances and carpentry.
Work with office team to ensure all turn-over repairs and services are completed and on schedule.
Maintain accurate records for preventative maintenance-building mechanicals, service requests and apartment turn-over status.
Respond to after-hours on-call emergencies.
Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards.
Maintaining and disposing of trash found in communal areas.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance maintenance, and boilers
Customer service
Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor
Team-player
Must have 3 years of clean driving record and personal, reliable transportation for on-call emergencies
Minimum high school education or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This role requires airlines travel. Occasional exposure to wet/and or humid conditions; the employee will occasionally lift packages up to 20 lbs.; Occasionally required to walk.
COMPENSATION: $20.00 - $24.00/Hr(Based on experience) salary plus 5% quarterly bonus and 20% housing discount
