  • Extensive domain knowledge and experience with CAMS, or ODS, or HSI functional and technical capabilities
  • Extensive domain knowledge and experience with CAMS, or ODS, or HSI CAMS technical architecture, DB2 table structures, interfacing and integration capabilities
  • May server as a Technical Team lead directing and/or oversees the work efforts of other Technicians.
  • Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into detail technical designs
  • Ability to interpret and translate Technical designs into executable components to meet said designs
  • Familiarized with Brokerage Firm CAMS II system
  • Author and/or review Technical design and program specification artefacts based on Functional designs, Technical requirements.
  • Design and/or review the configure CAMS Technical PCDs to support technical requirements and processing
  • Development of executable components in support of Technical designs, or to remedy incidents and/or defects. This includes, but is not exclusive to PCDs, programs, JCL/Procs, etc
  • Develop and/or review unit test plans, test scenarios, and cases to ensure the quality and accuracy of enhancements or changes to the application and/or application interfaces
  • Support Test Planning, execution, defect Triage, analysis, and defect resolution
  • Support release and implementation planning and execution by completing, or contributing to the completion, or implementation artefacts. Determining Live proving, monitoring, and verification procedures (from a Technical respective)
  • Analyse production incidents identifying and isolate the area at fault, and, working with resolve the defect (programmatically or other)
  • Provide direction and guidance to other Technicians as appropriate
  • Conducted code reviews and unit test result reviews, as appropriate
  • Provide support to Bank in resolving issues and queries which arise from usage of the Supplier Software
  • Actively support the transfer of CAMS II knowledge to Bank staff during the normal course of their work.
