Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life's best work.(sm)MARCH® Vision Care is a national Medicaid and Medicare vision benefits administrator and a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Care.This position is responsible for various functions related to configuration, translation, and maintenance of electronic and non-electronic encounter data.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Translate business needs into system/technical requirements within Features and User Stories

Document system and functional processes within flows, detailed system specifications and mapping documents

Work closely with Developers and Quality Engineers to ensure requirements and design are completely understood

Perform configuration and testing on encounter system

Encounter data research, review, and response level II for in-house and client-submitted errors by interfacing with Claims, Client Relations, Provider Relations, and all other customer support staff

Assist in generating, processing, and auditing EDI files and coordinate exchange with plan partner representatives

Perform peer audits on all client deliverables

Create and execute Intermediate level SQL queries for research and trouble-shooting efforts.

Document business workflow diagrams using MS Visio

Maintain departmental forms, job aids, and tracking lists

2+ years of experience working with EDI X12 data files (e.g. 834, 837, 997/999, 277CA) and/or proprietary flat files

1+ years Healthcare experience

1+ years with MS Word, Excel

Intermediate level experience with SQL queries

Preferred Qualifications:College experience in business administration, health administration, or computer science

2+ years of experience with effective verbal and written communication skills in a business setting

2+ years of claim processing / benefit-pricing configuration or Healthcare Software System Configuration experience

Experience with documenting or diagraming current state, solutions, and designs

Experience translating business requirements into a detailed system specification

Highly organized and ability to communicate well verbally and in writing

Must be a self-starter and proactive

The hourly range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $28.85 to $51.30.
