Job Description

  • Conduct phone interviews to assess the candidate’s capabilities, experience, aspirations and gain insight into their ability and willingness to perform the role needed, as well as assess the candidate’s ability to adapt to The Tile Shop culture
  • Utilize experience, judgment, and discretion to screen and present well-matched, talented candidates to hiring managers
  • Manage recruiting process and provide a positive candidate/hiring manager experience throughout the screening, interviewing and onboarding process
  • Communicate effectively in a timely manner with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Coach hiring managers as needed to further develop their interview skillset
  • Coordinate candidates through all required steps of the applicant tracking system and background process, follow up with managers on ETA’s, send out adverse action notice to failed backgrounds to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate weekly staffing meeting with leaders to assess recruiting progress, future hiring plans, obstacles and challenges, and collaborate on recruiting activities and strategies
  • Create and send out reports on recruiting KPI metrics and hiring progress to executives and senior leadership on a weekly basis
  • Craft offer letters in collaboration with the hiring manager as needed
  • Generate a pipeline of qualified candidates using job boards, social media channels, and other various resources to efficiently seek out and identify active and passive candidates
  • · Manage ads across many job boards: Indeed, iHire, LinkedIn, Facebook, Craigslist and more.
  • Support recruiting efforts by pro-actively communicating and collaborating with all levels of leadership including Executive team, Department Heads, Managers, Regional Managers, and Distribution teams
  • Continuously recruit and network by attending local and national career fairs, develop industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and promote employees to support on-going recruitment needs
  • Passionately express the company’s business structure to candidates while acting as the steward of company culture, promoting and embracing The Tile Shop’s business practices, philosophies, and strategies
  • Collaborate to review, update and improve interviewing support materials and training
  • Collaborate with team to always bring new and improved recruiting ideas, strategies, and systems
  • · Help manage the employee relocation program
  • · Work with the employee to coordinate travel
  • · Create timeline
  • · Request Daily per diem to be paid on global cash card prior to deployment
  • · Coordinate hotel, rental car, flights
  • · Work with Regional and mangers to ensure proper hand-off
  • · Support INTM manager with daily/weekly check ins and
  • · Push PCN to speed up System Access and Manager access in store
  • · Act as a liaison however we can to lend support, guidance, encouragement and direction
  • · Work with designated Vendors to set up appraisals, review bids, negotiate budgets and lock in rates with Vendor
  • · Manage, interview and coordinate all internal AM and STM candidate promotion and provide feedback to regional manager and store manager
  • · Become an Applicant Tracking System support specialist for the entire company
  • · Assist in management of ATS and implementation of any future systems
  • · Oversee - run ATS helpdesk to include new user set up, user termination, password reset
  • · Training all Corporate Leadership, STM/ASM’s in ATS workflow process
  • · Coordinate all logistics for contractor interviews and onboarding
  • · Ensure a positive and consistent candidate & business leader experience throughout the interview and onboarding processes
  • · Provide immediate sourcing support as business needs require
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10+ years prior Corporate/Agency recruiting
  • 5+ years in a service-oriented environment, preferably in staffing or human resources, sales, including administrative support to multiple individuals on scheduling and projects
  • Excellent Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and follow through; with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills; convey a positive upbeat personal and professional image
  • A high degree of flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to handle competing priorities, keeping constant sight of the overall objectives
  • Display service-oriented behavior responding to employee needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines
