Job Description

Deliver remarkable customer service to our Industrial Customers and Retailers who make inquiries about our products and services and/or who participate in Red Wing for Business Program. Collaborate with Salesto assist in account program questions/concerns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide our customers with a remarkable customer experience by providing timely, friendly, and knowledgeable service that exceeds their expectations.
  • Work directly with the Sales/Retailers to support our business advantage accounts by assisting them with invoice questions, changes to the accounts, investigating and resolving concerns, and communicating to the customer as needed.
  • Partner with 3rd party on Red Wing for Business Advantage Account changes that occur, ensure all systems are consistent and accurate, and investigate and resolve disputes.
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge and expertise of products, pricing and procedures while keeping up to date on relevant industry changes.
  • Identify the customers’ needs and be able to provide a solution that fits their needs and their program(s) per their program specs.
  • Receive, answer, and resolve inquiries via phone and e-mail.
  • Log all customer information and interactions into Salesforce.com

Qualifications

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to four years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience must be related to customer service.

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Significant Knowledge of product offerings
  • Knowledge of the sales process (market and sales cycle knowledge)
  • Proficient use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Salesforce.com, and order systems.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to relate to all different types of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Must establish trust between customers and the company, and must give the impression of sincerity, empathy and willingness to serve the customer.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Office environment that consists of extensive sitting, keyboarding and extensive amount of time spent on phone calls.
