Job Description
Red Wing Shoes is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our Finance unit. This is a great opportunity for individual to provide financial leadership with their specialized expertise in finances, accounting, management reporting, and budgeting.
As a valuable partner in driving information and insights, this role is a critical contributor to provide reporting, insights, and analysis to assist Finance and our businesses to ensure business needs are met.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university preferably in accounting, finance or business, with a minimum of 7 years of finance experience either as abusiness partner, management accountant, financial/business analyst or similar leadership role within accounting or finance; or a combination of education and experience.
Candidates should holdexperience in financial analysis throughpreparing financial reports including but not limited to revenue, gross margin, expenses, and profit; Reportinginformation in a consistent, accurate, and easy to understand manner depending on the intended audience; Designing and preparing business scorecards containing the use of metrics and financial information;Forecasting and other tactical planning; Analyzing data and trends across company-wide metrics; Preparingand reportingadditional analytical projects as assigned.
Candidates should display skill or knowledge in accounting principles, systems and best practices; General business acumen; Strong analytical and problem-solving techniques; Strong leadership abilities toexplore, recommend, and implement best practices within the unit; Ability to multi-task needs.
