Job Description

GENERAL PUPOSE OF THE JOB:

Implements strategic staffing programs and supporting infrastructure for business unit talent acquisition. Creates relationships with hiring managers and HRBPs to developplans and programs focused on meeting business unit talent acquisition needs. Executes employment brand strategy including communications, creative, and project planning for internal and external employment brand activation across multiple platforms throughout the employee journey. Scope of responsibility will be both strategic and tactical.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures strategic staffing programs, processes, and technology resources are effectively deployed.
  • Partners with business unit leaders and HRBPs to provide best in class staffing.
  • Participates in employment brand planning, content creation, and activation.
  • Provides operational support to the Talent Acquisition team; including relationship management of staffing partnerships and external vendors for efficient and effective delivery of services that support entire Talent Acquisition process.
  • Assists with maintenance and implementation of technology that supports Talent Acquisition effectiveness.
  • Develops quantitative and qualitative metrics and analyzes results to provide insights to communicate staffing effectiveness based on quality, cost, efficiency and customer feedback.
  • Develop and implement proactive communication strategies to inform business unit managers and HR management on the status of job searches.
  • Coordinates Talent Acquisition workflow processes, standards and procedures and provides backup support to Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely response to business unit needs.
  • Maintains and expands knowledge and understanding of existing and proposed federal and state laws/regulations affecting Talent Acquisition. Research appropriate state laws and policies, share findings and knowledge by counseling Talent Acquisition team and HRBPs on how to best incorporate changes/updates into hiring and execution of Affirmative Action plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources plus 2-5 years of in-house, staffing experience or equivalent combination of education and staffing experience.
  • At least one year of employment brand activation experience including experience building and managing an employment brand content calendar.
  • At least one year of experience in leveraging social media platforms to deploy effective employment brand content.
  • Experience of at least one year in social media platform community management related to an employment brand.
  • Ability to display complex quantitative data into a simple, intuitive format for clear and concise findings and presentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment and staffing practices including knowledge of employment law (i.e. EEOC guidelines) policies, practices and the ability to apply to complex organizational issues.
  • Demonstrated customer-focused service skills.
  • Excellent coaching skills and the ability to lead with influence.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence, and responsiveness to customer needs.
  • Knowledge and use of applicant tracking systems and integration of critical talent acquisition tools.
  • Experience in development and implementation of marketing/advertising campaigns designed to address sourcing strategies.
  • Flexibility of style and willingness to "roll up your sleeves and get it done"
  • Ability to challenge the status quo by offering creative and different solutions.
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and tasks ensuring results are delivered on time and of high quality.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively in a team setting.
  • Ability to manage expectations of hiring managers and HR team members.
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills and advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate, persuade and influence at all levels both inside and outside the organization.
