Our direct end client is looking for a Data Engineer 4 for a contract to hire opportunity. . MUST BE US CITIZEN OR HOLDER.Fully remote5+ years experience with Data platforms, data pipelines, and comfortable writing code in several languages.

1) critical thinking and analytical skills,2) 3+ years of continuous Python programming working with big data, and3) 2+ years of continuous dbt experienceUse Qlik to replicate and Fivetran.Python interfacing with SOAP, REST API manually cleanse files and write Python code to easily transform the data.Demonstrated API experience, Restbased APIs and what libraries in Python they would pull in.Jenkins, CICD, GIT or other open source code repositories.Writing code in Java/.Net need to have the experience, doesnt matter which one.Nice to have experience in Windows, so that they can talk SQL Server or Oracle experience-just good background, not a MUST.

We are seeking a Data Engineering Lead to play a critical role in the development of 's Enterprise Data & Analytics capabilities. You will be part of an organization focusing on the development and delivery of data solutions and capabilities for s data platforms. The successful candidate is self-motivated, technically proficient, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. This is a senior position and will closely work with the Platform Architect to design/build new platform features.General Responsibilities- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and access patterns.Identify, design and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes.- Utilize and advance CI/CD frameworks.- Guide and mentor junior team members.Technical Skills- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.- Strong programming experience in Python or similar languages to process big data- Fluent in relational design principles and writing complex SQLAdvanced experience with Docker and deploying code as a container/microservice- Advanced experience with Spark and related processing frameworks such as Airflow and Kafka (or other streaming technologies)- Advanced understanding of cloud environments such as AWS (preferred) Google Cloud Platform, and Azure- Familiarity with dbt is a plus!- Experience with Qlik Replicate, Fivetran, Snowflake a plus
