York is hiring! Seeking a .Net Software Engineer with 3+ years of Full Stack experience in software development and writing solutions. This role also requires a Bachelor's degree. 100% Remote!
Daily Responsibilities: Mid level resources will be 100% individual contributors, senior resources may be 80% individual contributors / 20% strategy/design/code reviews.Work across the entire software development lifecycle including software requirements, high-level and detailed design specifications, software implementation, verification, defect resolution and maintenance activities.Collaborate with product management, architects, UX, DevOps, backend, and frontend engineers to deliver the right solution.Develop automated unit integration and system level tests to verify the design and implementation.Participate in Agile project planning activities with the team to define, estimate and plan tasks. Take ownership to deliver on assigned tasks.Maintains high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.Communicate with end users and internal customers to help debug and test software for robustness.Experience:This person will have full stack experience in software development and writing solutions in C#, .NET Core, Angular Frontend and understand the value of automated tests and Test Driven Development (TDD).3+ years of backend or full stack experience3+ years experience designing and developing software applications in C# or .NET framework/core and RESTful API development 1+ year of public cloud experience (Azure preferred)Experience with SQL/NoSQL databasesGood Knowledge and interest (if not experience) in UI development (Angular or React).Great communication and presentation skillsExperience with service-oriented architectures and microservices.Experience with Message brokers such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus.Nice to Have / Preferred:Azure Cloud experience Azure Cloud certificationsExperience (or strong knowledge) of Docker and Kubernetes containersAzure DevOps CI/CDAzure Key VaultAzure IOT, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Durable FunctionsExperience with Git for software configuration managementExperience (or strong knowledge) of Testing Tools such as Jasmine, Cypress, NUnit, xUnitStrong experience in developing accessible front end applications with AngularAt least one additional scripting language such as Powershell, Python, Perl, R.Education Required:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
