Ledgent Technology is partnering with an industry leading E-Commerce company to search for a Sr. Java Developer! This person will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment that will help you gain skills in HCL Commerce and Spring. This person will be responsible for collaborating with various teams on several projects aiming at supporting growth of their various companies. Ideal candidates will have a passion and willingness to learn and grow their IT career! This is a 100% remote role that is a direct hire.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining Java/J2EE, Spring, and HCL Commerce Environments
  • Identifying best processes for new functions and taking recommendations for upgrades to existing process
  • Digonoase and troubleshoot production issues
  • On-Call Support/Maintenance as needed

Knowledge & Experience
  • BS in Computer Science
  • 6+ years of experience using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot Applications, JSP, EJBs, JSTL, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, SOAP/REST, XML and HTML
  • Knowledge of system and software best practices including Agile, continuous integration methodologies, and project lifecycles models.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to research application development issues and products

Bonus Experience:
  • HCL Commerce (IBM WCS)
  • Web Technologies (Angular, React, etc)
  • Core Software/Applications including IBM MQ, IBM DB1, Redhat, Eclipse IDE, Spring Tool Suite, Subversion, Groovy, and Ansible
