Job Title:-Data Governance consultant Location :Richfield MN Fulltime Job Description:-

• Overall 8 to 10 years of experience in Data Governance.
• Engage with Business data governance working teams in alignment to Data Governance office standards and practices including intake process, documentation of decisions, discussions and definitions of data and its usages.
• Assist the Data Governance teams with appropriate data granularity and completeness of data definitions.
• Help Data Governance office to work with Data Governance Steering Committee in establishing policies and procedures around Data quality, security, privacy, retention and standards.
• Help Data Governance office by creating score cards to measure program success
• Actively participate in Data Domain Working Team meetings.
• Work with data owners, data stewards and business users to create ways to monitor, evaluate, and remediate data quality issues.
• Update and manage business line metadata dictionaries
• Maintain documentation around Data Governance policies, procedures, data quality criteria, business glossary, taxonomy of data, data dictionaries and business rules within Central repository.
• Create and update Enterprise Data topics with appropriate retention requirements within MDR application
• Support the Records Management team with mapping retention schedules to all CCPA related data to ensure compliance strategy for delete exemptions
• Involve with Enterprise Information Records Management on identifying the System of Record and retention to the data, through ERC, for any new projects.
• Work with Enterprise Data Platform team to host definition for all the metadata on Enterprise Data Catalog.
• Work with Privacy Product team for Employee applications to define new data topics and capture the details within MDR for CCPA implementation in 2023.
• Provide expertise to CCPA working committee by analyzing Personally Identifiable data distribution across systems to validate what systems are in scope for CCPA.
