Prefer local candidates,Tell us about your department:Digital Release operations team is responsible to coordinate and execute application deployments of 1200+applications. The applications are hosted across various platforms (openshift, AWS, Data Cener). Project Description:Manage and Automate daily deployments and Release Processes Position Summary/Job Description:- Facilitate zero downtime deployments for client Dotcom web applications on various platforms such as AWS, datacenter & openshift;
- Resolve lower environment issues to support QA & Stage testing by product teams and performance testing teams by troubleshooting errors in the log files;
- Build and deploy code for complex software to environments to support the release process from Quality Assurance through Production;
- Manage and schedule production releases effectively by collaborating with Product teams and Support teams;
- Execute Cockroach, MySQL, Oracle Database deployments using Liquibase tool;
- Interact with business stakeholders and developers to modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware and improve performance;
- Manage timely resolution of critical and/or complex problems with the different platforms in multiple environments including necessary communication including project management, business stakeholders and operations
- Responsible for design, architect and developing application using core java, spring boot, angular, javascript, type script, python, rest client, Jersey api, CSS, Json Path, Jwt, swagger UI, web services, node, Gradle, maven, Rest assured and Solr.
- Working Knowledge of Key AWS Services such as EC2, S3, Route53 and etc.,
- Responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the release activities and assigning the tasks to team members.
- Responsible for Automating Various Manual scenarios using different scripting Languages.
- Responsible for Zero downtime Deployment, managing and debugging issues in datacenter, aws and openshift containers.
- Responsible for building CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins (Jenkins pipeline jobs), git, bit bucket and GitHub, Jira. Need a solid experience in docker containers and custom images.
- Proficient in atleast in one of the Languages (Bash, Python, Groovy)
- Able to communicate and collaborate with engineers, project managers, management
- Able to learn new technologies relatively quickly and eager to share knowledge via meetings/documentation.
- A problem solver; willing and able to troubleshoot problems across a wide array of functional areas
- Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Experience including Jenkins
- Experience with Development / Operations & Release Engineering functions including monitoring, deployments
