Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Digital Business Analyst for a contract position with our client in Richfield, MN. (Currently remote) We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Business Analyst. This individual is responsible for helping to define business problems and facilitate solutions for digital products and services. The Senior Digital Business Analyst works on the Client Care Group Digital Product team which delivers innovative solutions to our consumers of the largest consumer-governed, nonprofit health care organization in the nation, providing care, coverage, research and education to improve the health of members, patients and the community. The Care Group Digital Product team works on projects to innovate, improve, and create new digital solutions for our healthcare consumers of our Client Care Group, which includes 90+ clinics and hospitals across Minnesota and Western Wisconsin, serving over 1.2 million patients. The products supported by our team include online appointment scheduling, Quick Schedule, digital communication between patients and care teams (e.g. text, email, photos, etc), our consumers online accounts and features, and other digital tools and services to receive diagnoses and treatment (e.g. video visits, phone visits, photo upload, etc). The Digital Business Analyst helps to understand our business opportunities and consumer pain-points, and acts as the bridge between these opportunities and our solutions. Responsibilities include: Understanding strategic goals - The Digital Business Analyst Understands our strategic goals and works closely with our Product Owner to help execute our top business priorities. Leading discovery; The Digital Business Analyst will take our top business priorities and collaborate with the Product Owner and team members to work through the details of what needs to be accomplished. It may include chasing data to support a business case, eliciting and documenting requirements, or collaborating in creative problem solving. Being a consumer experience champion; While collaborating with our business partners or other technical partners, the Digital Business Analyst will need to represent the voice of the consumer. We strive to have our consumers love the products and solutions we develop. Asking the right questions - The Digital Business Analyst knows how to collaborate with stakeholders to ask why challenge the status quo, and get to the root of problems. Detailed documentation -The Digital Business Analyst chases details, and is able to document what is needed to satisfy business, care team, and consumer requirements. Breaking down the work for team members to execute (e.g. writing stories in Jira) is an important part of the role. Working on a scrum team; Different from a project-teams, our team takes a product approach to our work, to continuously evolve the experiences we are responsible for. The Digital Business Analyst will partner closely with the Product Owner, and sometimes serve as the proxy for the product owner or our team when collaborating with business partners or other teams. Coordination; Some of the products we support are fully built and supported by our Digital Product team, but most of our solutions require partnership and collaboration across many teams. The Digital Business Analyst is at the center of this coordination, both within our team and across teams.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor degree in business, design, healthcare or another related field. Five or more years of Business Analysis or leadership experience. Three years of experience working on digital or consumer-design projects. Experience eliciting and evaluating business needs and requirements from stakeholders. Experience in critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciliation of conflicts and decomposition of high level information into details. Experience facilitating documentation review sessions. Experience writing and maintaining requirements plans for medium/large projects. Experience with change management practices. Experience with creating/maintaining artifacts including: vision documentation, functional specifications, use cases, business requirements/rules, business process diagrams. Experience in training or mentoring team members or other Business Analysts. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities with different business partners. Demonstrated knowledge of consumer design and software development lifecycle processes, strong consultative skills, capable problem solver, ability to build consensus, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users, developers, managers and subject matter experts. Proficiency utilizing MS Word, Excel and Visio. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the healthcare payer or provider industry. Experience working within an agile development cycle. Quality assurance experience helpful. Experience working with SharePoint or other project repository tools and issue tracking tools helpful

Accountabilities: Serve as a liaison between the business, Epic/ Care Systems, and Web Mobile team members when exploring business problems and solutions. Elicit, understand, and evaluate business problems, requirements, and consumer pain-points by: Conducting stakeholder interviews, document analysis, data analysis, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information into details. Abstract from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Create and maintain requirements artifacts in accordance with change management guidelines including: project vision/scope documents, functional specification, use cases, concept mock-ups, wireframes, and process diagram flowcharts. Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry. Perform User Acceptance Testing as needed. Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner. Facilitate documentation review sessions. Communicate requirement changes and facilitate re-prioritization with Epic/ Care Systems, and Web Mobile team members. Manage multiple projects or a single large project of substantial complexity which may include sub components of larger scale projects. Complete approved requirements documentation within approved scope, schedule and budget. Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously. Work independently as well as under the direction of Project Managers and department manager.
