We are the data layer that helps retain customers in memberships by showing their membership savings. Project Description: Major work will be around the Savings calculator that is used by our members to get their total savings. Position Summary/Job Description: Mostly Java backend development, work with product and engineering leads on new API specs and data models. Agile process with daily standups and 2-week sprints. May have future UI work, Javascript/React is not required, but nice to have skill set. How much time will the resource spend pair programming? 15-25% Skills Overview: What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job? • Java/Spring 5-7+Years • REST API development 5-7+ years • Object Oriented Programming and Design patterns 5-7+ years • MQ(Rabbit/IBM/JMS/AMPQ) 2-5+ years • Strong unit-testing skills (Junit/Spock in particular) 5-7+ years What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for? • 1-5 Years HTML/CSS/JS • Graphql experience • NOSQL ecperience • Experience with github • Test Driven Development with spock/junit5 • microservices Interview Process Overview: 20 min interview with HM 45 min technical interview
