Ashley Distribution is seeking a Truck Technician.
Truck Technician
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Truck Technician is primarily responsible for own work.
Exercise minimal amount of independent judgment and discretion.
Makes routine choices and some non-routine choices within established guidelines and
  operates under consistent supervision.
Diagnoses and repairs brake, electrical, lubrication, cooling, air conditioning, engine, air,
  vacuum, and hydraulic systems and drive train.
Perform preventive maintenance inspections on truck/tractor equipment and all added equipment.
Performs truck set-ups to include inspections of all settings, calibrations, contents, and condition.
Maintains appropriate records.
Aligns all tractor and trailer axels to assure maximum tire wear.
Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.
Job Requirements:
2-year technical school
5 years in the truck repair field Current CDL
Strong trouble shooting skills
Volvo & Cummins engine
Alignment systems
Maintenance Principles of diesel engine mechanics as applied to the maintenance and
  repair of medium/heavy duty equipment tools, equipment, and methods in the
  diagnosis repair and adjustment of motor equipment
Arithmetic and basic mathematical calculations
Ability to understand operations and observe safety rules
Ability to perform diagnosis and repair on medium /heavy diesel equipment
Ability to read and understand technical reports, instruction, and schematic drawings and diagrams
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
