- Information Services
- Assist staff with research tasks, including preparation of written research materials (billable time)
- Periodically performs an internal audit of software to weed out outdated, unused software and to make sure we maintain proper licenses
- Assist staff in preparing and maintaining audio-visual presentations and other materials used for trial exhibits, seminars, presentations to governmental bodies, etc.
- Technology Coordinator
- Directly and primarily responsible for all technology systems (hardware and software) at Rinke-Noonan
- Create, research, install, and maintain all technical services, including:
- Perform such other functions as may be assigned by the Executive Committee and Director of Operations
- Configure and maintain computer workstations
- Initialize all new computer equipment and load appropriate software applications as directed
- Complete work station software upgrades and patches as directed
- Complete warranty registration and software license registrations
- Centralize, log, and maintain records of software applications
- Order equipment, service, and software as directed
- Draft instructions on how to install and use computer programs and computer equipment, such as scanners, printers, etc.
- Remote access – set up new users; training of new users, maintenance; add programs and troubleshooting problems
- Web Page Maintenance and Design
- Make changes and additions to the Web page
- Network Support
- Maintain the functionality and security of company computer networks and all interlinked systems
- Maintains systems recovery plan
- Assist users with network diagnosis and support in person, on the telephone, and over email
- Evaluate network data to ensure consistently adequate speed and space
- Record network troubleshooting activities and perform preventative maintenance to achieve optimum, uninterrupted network performance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
- 1-3+ years experience in a help desk role
- Familiarity with the services provided by a full-service law firm
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to put IT terms into layman's terms, understandable to all employees
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable
